JOB DESCRIPTION:


Funrise is looking to add an experienced National Account Manager to the sales team. The National Account Manager will be results driven with a primary focus on mid tier accounts, bringing 3-5 years of expertise in sales and marketing within the toy industry. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can execute product strategies, drive sales, and maximize profitability.


RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Drive sales initiatives with a primary focus on mid tier accounts (Grocery & Drug).
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and sustain strong, enduring relationships with buyers, planners, and management to align with business objectives.
  • Understand industry-specific trends to align our product portfolio with account needs.
  • Increase market share at these retailers by optimizing in-aisle and feature space.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Attend toy shows and preview events to stay informed about brand and product lines.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 3+ years in a similar role and a proven track record of successfully selling into the toy department at these retailers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Ability to travel often and internationally as needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of positioning products against competitors.
  • Ability to build positive and enduring relationships, exerting influence when necessary.
  • Experience in forecasting and planning within the toy industry.
  • One World Sync and other retail portal proficiency.
  • Strong emphasis on achieving sales metrics.



Hybrid, Full-Time

Total Compensation: $80k - $110k CAD
